Annual Awards Ceremony

The Above and Beyond Awards were created in 2020 as an annual celebration to reflect on the positives of each academic year, celebrate your amazing achievements and the community that we are so proud to be a part of.

The Student Union Manager each year works to gather staff and student nominees, then shortlist these with the help of University's Deputy Vice Chancellor and the Student Union President. Shortlists are then voted upon by all staff and students.

Staff can choose to nominate for any of the student categories, which are as below:
