Freshers 2020 is Live

Updated: Mar 14

I just wanted to write a little blog post for all of you new-starters who've been keen to find out more about what we'll be doing for Freshers this year.

Freshers is often a part of the university experience that students look forward to with excitement and we want you to have the most authentic Freshers experience possible, so we will be running all of our usual events in person. We also want to keep you safe, which is why there will be a limited capacity in the Students' Union and each event will be ticketed to ensure your safety.

Prior to coming to Plymouth, do join our Freshers 2020 group to find your course mates and get to know all the other students who are joining the community this year!

Our Student Union Ambassador Team will be here to support you in your move to Plymouth, from moving into The Old Dairy and Frobisher House to Freshers events. If you have any questions or queries members of the team will be at all of our Freshers events to help you with whatever you may need and help you to get to know Plymouth and feel part of the community.

You can find the full list of our Freshers events on our Facebook events tab and you can book your tickets on our Eventbrite. If you're not sure what to expect, check out the video below from Freshers 2019.

We're so excited to see you all in Plymouth, and whether you're coming in September or October, we hope to see you at some of our Freshers events soon.

Best,

Harriet Moore

Student Union President
