PCA SU merch
We’re pleased to announce that the first shipments of official PCA SU merchandise have arrived. We currently have for sale bottle openers and sticker sheets. In the near future, we will also be selling hoodies and travel mugs. Remember, Student Reps get 10% off all merchandise!
Recording lectures
Jason Hirons (Senior Lecturer for School of Critical and Cultural Studies) has sent us some information to be passed on regarding recording lectures. He says that any student can and should bring voice recorders to lectures. Additionally, he has recommended a particular app called “Sonocent” which is excellent for this purpose.
Mark Kerrigan (Director of Learning and Teaching) is also taking this idea to the Learning and Teaching Committee, he is looking to get some students to sit in on this committee and convey their views on this topic specifically. If any students are interested in getting their voice heard on this, please contact Rowena.
Upcoming SU events
12th November 1700-2100 - Networking Bar Night
Our Marketing and Enterprise Lead Harriet Moore has been working on a networking night in our SU bar. It’s an excellent opportunity for those of you interested in collaboration, career opportunities, and generally working on your networking skills. Louise Sharland (Careers Officer) and Rob Green from Business and Student Exchange (B&SE) will also be there to talk to anyone about these topics. The bar will be serving soft and alcoholic drinks.

Join us for our official 2019 Big Fat Quiz of the Year in our SU bar. There will be a cash prize for the winner and bonus round prizes additionally.
