Evening everyone,
I've been very excited to share with you all my latest project, the PCA Above and Beyond Awards.
I know it's a strange time for us all right now, so I think it's important that we reflect on the positives of this academic year, celebrate the amazing achievements of you all and remain the community that we are so proud to be.
Dr Mark Kerrigan and myself have been working on this for the past few months, and we are pleased to finally release the following award categories.
Student Awards:
Student Representative Award
Student-Led Project of the Year
Social Justice Award
Special Recognition Award
Best Developed Society
Student Ambassador of the Year
I have worked closely with a range of staff to ensure a fair and unbiased range of nominations within the student body of PCA. All nominations will be released next week and voting will begin Monday 11th May via a google form and we are hoping to announce our winners on Friday 29th May.
*Staff and students will be able to vote*

Amazing Lecturer Award HE Amazing Lecturer Award FE
Amazing Technician Award

The staff awards will be conducted slightly differently, still via google form but instead of pre-nominated individuals, you will have the option to submit any member or staff you feel deserving of the category.
*Only students will be able to vote in this section*
Next week a more comprehensive list will be released with short descriptions of each category along with the nominees and why they have been chosen.
If you have any questions about our awards, drop me an email (rmurphy@pca.ac.uk) or keep an eye out on your email or our socials for more information to come.
